Very cozy spot and breakfast had a nice variety, including pancakes and fresh pastries. The A/C was a bit loud at night. Great location close to the park entrance made it easy to explore. Loved the rustic decor in the room.

The room was clean and the decor was charming. No elevator made it tough for seniors to manage their luggage.

Surprisingly luxurious for a roadside motel, the spacious room featured comfy beds and thoughtful decor. Breakfast was a standout—plentiful options beyond expectations. Location near the park was perfect for exploring, though our room location by the stairs made for some noise. Staff were friendly, especially Jackie at the front desk, but the Wi-Fi was frustratingly slow, which was an issue for us. A few stains on the carpet caught my eye, and the pool was out of order. Still, it offered a solid base for our adventures. I'd recommend it, with some caveats.

Crosswinds Inn stands out for its exceptional cleanliness and cozy accommodations. Our room had a modern touch with refreshed amenities. While the breakfast was decent, the friendly staff and convenient location near Yellowstone made our stay memorable. We’d happily return for another visit!

It was a bit pricey, but worth it for the comfort and location.

I couldn’t believe how noisy it was; it felt like a herd of elephants above us all night. Definitely not worth the money we spent!

The location is perfect for exploring Yellowstone and walking to nearby restaurants. Breakfast is surprisingly good and the staff is super friendly, making you feel right at home.
The wi-fi is slow and drops more often than a clumsy waiter.

The property is right off the main street in West Yellowstone meaning you can easily stroll to plenty of shops restaurants and even attractions like the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center which is just a few blocks away while also being just over 1 km from the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park so you can get to the park quickly for an adventurous day and the convenience was fantastic with my comfortable cozy room featuring a large mini fridge and all the amenities you need for a great stay but I wish the sitting area in my king bed room had been as described as it took away from the overall experience.

The room was exceptionally clean and spacious, featuring two comfortable queen beds with plenty of pillows. The temperature control worked perfectly, maintaining a cozy atmosphere. I appreciated the sink area outside the bathroom for added convenience. noise from the hallway and upstairs could be heard, especially since we were near the stairs. While the furnishings are updated, the exterior access felt reminiscent of an older motel. Staff were friendly, though parking was a challenge due to large events nearby. The breakfast selection was impressive, offering both hot and cold options along with great coffee.

A mixed bag. Rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is plentiful—though I’d recommend avoiding peak times. Ideal location near great dining and shops. parking was a significant issue. Limited spaces and a lack of consideration for non-event guests brought frustration. Cleaning could improve; found some dust and hair along the edges. The decor feels dated, and the noise from the A/C was distracting. Despite these drawbacks, the convenience to the park and friendly service make it a contender for a return visit. Just be prepared for some potential inconveniences.

The hotel surprised me with its updated and clean rooms, cozy beds, and a tasty breakfast with plenty of options. The friendly staff added a welcoming touch to our stay. Being close to restaurants and the park made it super convenient for us to explore and grab a bite to eat easily. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable holiday experience.
There were some downsides such as the noisy location of our room near a street and on the ground floor, causing disturbances during the night. The parking situation was a bit chaotic due to events taking up space, making it challenging to find a spot.

Being so close to Yellowstone, I felt like a glamorous adventurer exploring the great outdoors. Loved the variety of activities nearby; did a bit of everything!
Moldy oatmeal with pork sausages? Quite the taste sensation!

We had a blast in West Yellowstone, trying out epic activities like white water rafting on the Gallatin River and enjoying the playground and BBQ facilities. The shoreline was lit for boating and canoeing, and we even hit the slopes for some sick skiing!
We wished for a kickin' party scene to amp up our nights even more.

Just wanted to share my thoughts on my recent stay at Crosswinds. We had a pretty good time overall. The beds were really comfy, which was a major plus after a long day exploring Yellowstone National Park. The breakfast spread was impressive, with plenty of options to choose from. And the staff, especially John, were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. there were a few things that could use some improvement. The walls were quite thin, and we could hear our neighbors talking until late at night, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep. the carpet in our room looked like it could do with a good cleaning. On the upside, the toiletries provided were convenient, although it would have been nice to see more environmentally-friendly options like refillable dispensers in the shower. The location was great, just a stone's throw away from Yellowstone and within walking distance to eateries and shops. All in all, Crosswinds offered a pleasant stay with a few minor hiccups. I'd consider staying there again, but I hope they address the noise insulation and cleanliness issues for an even more enjoyable experience.

we had a fantastic stay at Crosswinds Inn. the complimentary breakfast was outstanding, with a great variety including french toast, pancakes, bacon, and more. the staff were very friendly and even assisted us during a snowstorm. the room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and we enjoyed the proximity to the park entrance and shopping areas.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like 🙂

The location was super convenient, right by the park entrance and close to shops and restaurants. The breakfast was top-notch, with a variety of options like sausage, eggs, pancakes, and more. The staff were really friendly and helpful, making our early check-in smooth and easy.
The room above ours was so creaky, it felt like we were living underneath a herd of elephants practicing tap dancing. The bed was as firm as a rock, not ideal for a good night's sleep.

West Yellowstone is a family paradise with endless outdoor fun, from fly-fishing on the Madison River to whitewater rafting on the Gallatin River. The kids loved the playground and BBQ facilities, while we enjoyed miles of pristine shoreline for boating and canoeing.
My wife says that a kids' activity room would be beneficial.

The location was fantastic, just minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Plenty of free parking and a clean indoor pool and hot tub. Outdoor seating and a fire table made for a great evening hangout spot.
Felt well taken care of, no reason to complain.

my experience at this motel was wonderful. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any requests. The motel's location was perfect, within walking distance of the main strip and all its restaurants and shops. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, making it a pleasant stay. The amenities such as the indoor pool and hot tub added to the enjoyment.
The high price of the motel compared to its offerings.
